Originally from Greece, Io moved to the UK in 2015 and has since established herself as a versatile and engaging bass player. With an energetic stage presence and ability to move comfortably between different genres, she has toured across the UK and internationally with a range of artists and projects.
More recently, she has been touring nationwide as the main bassist with 'Massaoke: Sing The Musicals' since 2024, performing in iconic sold-out venues, and touring with rock duo Interlaker on bass and backing vocals.
